This safety video program on Fire Prevention and Safety in Healthcare Environments discusses the types of fires that can occur in a workplace and how to prevent them. It also provides practical guidance on how to respond if a fire does start, including how to extinguish different types of fires and how to evacuate the area safely.
Workplace fires injure thousands of workers every year… and unfortunately not all of them make it out alive. Fires can lead to confusion and mass panic, especially when workers aren’t prepared for them. The good news is that fire-related injuries can often be prevented with the right safe work practices and evacuation procedures.
